Existing services:
The PCCS webpage is a source of information about society activities, links to other organisations and a means to communicate with liked minded professionals

The Annual General Meeting - up to date lectures from leading experts in cardiovascular disease relevant to primary care. An opportunity for members to present their views regarding cardiovascular medicine and the running of the society.

PCCS Satellite Sympossium at the British Cardiovascular Society AGM - an opportunity for primary care professionals to meet and discuss issues with secondary care professionals.

Joint Meetings - collaboration with other societies such as the Healthcare Section of the British Hyperlipidaemia Association, HEART UK and Diabetes UK (formerly the British Diabetic Association).

Free subscription to the British Journal of Cardiology - the official journal of the PCCS.

VASCOveritas - the PCCS Newsletter.

Regular mailings from the Secretariat.

The PCCS is a Member of the National Heart Forum, Affiliated to the British Cardiovascular Society and a NICE Stakeholder.

Planned services:
Subcommittees - Education and Research. Atrial Fibrillation joint committee with specialists (These committees will seek members views before reporting)

Regional meetings - local issues with less traveling
